As a Bereavement “Loss” Doula, I will walk, support, and help families who are experiencing the loss of their baby, whether that loss is through miscarriage, stillbirth, or a diagnosis that means the baby will not live long after being delivered.

My services include:

 

• Providing emotional support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum

• Providing resource

• Helping process information given by doctors

• Having a miscarriage kit available

• Information regarding when where, and how to deliver baby already sleeping

• Creating a birth plan (one for if baby lives and one if baby dies)

• Providing information regarding burial resources and funeral homes

• Preparing the mother for birth

• Getting the family ready to see and say goodbye to their baby

• Supporting the mama as her body heals and her heart grieves

• Supporting the family’s transition without their baby
